Tyler has lost three teeth so far! He lost this one at karate, but not because someone knocked it out.

About Us

Young Family: Established April 30, 1999: Guard and Alisha met at BYU in the fall of 1997 on the steps of the Marriot Center while waiting to get football tickets. A year long courtship led to engagement and six months later, Guard and Alisha were married in the Salt Lake City Temple. After Alisha graduated from BYU in 2000 and the Men's Gymnastics Team was cut from BYU Athletics, the Youngs moved to Norman Oklahoma where Guard trained for the Olympics and coached at the University of Oklahoma. Alisha got a job teaching 1st grade at Broadmoore Elementary. While in Oklahoma Tyler Mark Young was born on February 6, 2003, the first of the two Young boys. Then in 2005 the Youngs moved to Yuba City, California where Jaxson Guard Young was born on March 31, 2006. We opened our gymnastics business in 2007 and currently have two locations. Our princess, Hadley Anabelle, was born August 26, 2010.

Guard Young, Olympic Silver Medalist

In 2004, Guard was blessed with the opportunity to represent the United States in the Olympics held in Athens, Greece as a member of the Men's Gymnastics Team. After a very intense competition the United States took the Silver Medal, the highest team finish in a non-boycotted Olympics for men's gymnastics. Guard feels very humbled by the opportunities he has been given through his gymnastics and wants to thank all his friends and family for all their support through the years.
